JD Gyms has acquired the gym estate of Xercise4Less, following the budget chain calling in administrators. Xercise4Less ran into financial trouble earlier this year after being hit badly by the COVID-19 lockdowns.
How do you cancel your Xercise4Less membership?
To cancel your membership, you can submit your 30 days notice here. If you have cancelled your direct debit before your 30 days’ notice has been fulfilled, please contact our customer service team by calling 0113 4679697.
Can I use my Xercise4Less membership anywhere?
Yes, you can! As a X4L Gyms member, you can upgrade to the X4L Gyms PLUS+ MULTISITE package which will give you access to all of the X4L gyms we currently have open throughout the UK.
How do I stop a direct debit?
To cancel a Direct Debit, contact your bank or building society on the phone, via secure online banking, or visit your local branch. Direct Debit payments can be cancelled at any time but a bank will require at least 1 days’ notice before your next payment date.
Can I cancel a gym direct debit?
You may terminate your Membership at any time by cancelling the direct debit mandate with your bank. Your Membership will end with immediate effect, and no refund will be due. Email [email protected] and ask them to cancel your account.
Does exercise for less have showers?
Yes, we provide comfortable changing facilities which include showers, toilets, hair dryers, weighing machines, lockers and plug sockets.

Every one of our 52 gyms nationwide is open 7 days a week, with more than 400 pieces of the latest gym equipment, over 50 available classes, monthly transformation camps, a separate ladies’ area and expert advice and support.
Can you cancel gym membership by Cancelling Direct Debit?
