CJ Buck is currently Chairman and CEO of Buck Knives, Inc. and the 4th generation family member to run Buck Knives. CJ started with Buck Knives in 1978, working on the production line building 110 Folding Hunters.

Can you pocket carry a Buck 110?
The Buck 110 is bear naked. There’s no pocket clip, so your only two carrying options are 1) wear it in the belt sheath that comes with the knife (the old-school style of carry) or 2) carry it loose in your pocket.
How many Buck Knives are there?
Its debut revolutionized hunting knives, rapidly becoming one of the most popular knives ever made, with some 15 million Model 110 knives produced since 1964. Before 1981, the specially heat treated stainless steel used was 440C, and from 1981 to 1992 the company used 425M steel.
When did Buck switch to 420HC?
This dot was to mark the change from forged to machined blades. 440C was used until 1981 when Buck switched to 425 modified steel, lasting another 11 years. 1992 marks the final steel choice for this line, using the Bos heat treated 420HC, which is found on many Buck models.
