Short answer, yes… if you are using it mostly for solo dehydrated meals, freezer bag cooking etc. I can usually boil enough for a meal and coffee off of less than one tab in my MSR Titan Kettle.

However, I found it necessary to get directly over it and blow it with all my lung power. If I just puffed at it from the side, it would not go out.
