ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s ministry of public services issued a gazette notification on Wednesday (19) extending the retirement age of public servants in Sri Lanka to 65. However, workers have the freedom to retire at the age of 55 if they so wish, the gazette said. The extension is effective as of January 01, 2022.
