What qualifications do I need to work at dog trust?
A willingness to learn is essential! Other than that, we hope that you would apply to volunteer for a role where your own unique skills set can be put to the best use. How old do I have to be? You must be over the age of 16 to volunteer with Dogs Trust and for some roles 18 is the minimum age requirement.
Can I do work experience at Dogs Trust?
We have plenty of volunteering opportunities and we also have apprentice roles. You can view our current vacancies here. We do not currently facilitate work experience placements.

Visits to the centre are by pre-booked appointment only. Want to give me a treat? Choose an item from our Amazon wish-list and it will come straight to us! We’re the team at Dogs Trust Shoreham. There are 52 kennels here, so the centre is quite big and our staff care for a lot of dogs every year thanks to support from people like you.
What does Dogs Trust do for staff?
