What is the Borealis portal?
The Borealis is a scientific research vessel owned by Aperture Science. It first appeared in Half-Life 2: Episode 2, but a reference to it can be found in Portal 2 as an easter egg hidden in Chapter 6.

Why does Eli want the Borealis destroyed?
Half-Life 2: Episode Two Kleiner believes the technology the Borealis contains could be used by the Resistance against the Combine to aid them in The Uprising; Eli, haunted by memories of the Black Mesa Incident and not wanting a second Seven Hour War, believes that the Borealis has to be destroyed at all costs.
Why does the Combine want the Borealis?
It’s clear that the Borealis is carrying something that the Combine want, and that is the base of most theories. The Combine are a multiversal (don’t know if that’s a word) imperial power, with high tech technology. They would only seek out the ship if it had something that they truly wanted.
What was Borealis before?
The ships, to be named Bolette and Borealis, have been purchased from Holland America Line and previously sailed under the names Amsterdam and Rotterdam carrying up to 1,380 and 1,404 guests.
Who is benry?
Benrey (alternatively spelled Benry) is a main character, later turned antagonist in Half-Life VR but the AI is Self-Aware. First appearing in ACT 1, he works as a security guard at Black Mesa, often tagging along with The Science Team. Benrey is played by Socpens.
