What is resin panel?
Colored, translucent resin panels are a recycled, lightweight, material available in unlimited colors and are perfect for easily providing a customized look to your space. We also offer this product in custom high resolution graphics printing.
Can I use plastic mold for resin?
You can use any mold that was made for resin casting, but be sure to follow the manufacturer’s suggestions for which mold release chemicals to use. Avoid thin plastic molds (like those made for candy-making), as resin will stick to that type of plastic and you’ll have difficulty getting your cured pieces out.
Can you cast glass in resin?
Epoxy resin glues to glass very well, provided the surface is clean. That means if a glass surface is free of dirt and oil, resin will stick to it with no trouble.
How thin can you pour resin?
For a pour less than 20L (5gal), a 1.5” layer should cure fine without overheating but for pouring more than 20L, we recommend breaking it up into multiple layers of about 1” per layer to avoid overheating. Keep in mind that FlowCast® is not recommended for pouring anything less than 1/2 inch.
Can I use paper cups as a resin mold?
Because the resin heats up, there is a risk of melting your mold or the resin starting a fire. That’s why styrofoam containers and paper cups don’t make suitable molds. Instead, it needs to be material, like silicone, that can take heat as high as 200F.
Can you put resin in the oven?
To answer your question, “Can you put resin in the oven?” You can cure Epoxy resin faster when using the oven; however, you should make sure that you don’t overheat this material.

What are the dimensions and squareness of Varia products?
All dimensions and squareness are subject to a 3/16″ (4.7 mm) tolerance. 5′ x 10′ (1.5 m x 3 m) is also available, though some restrictions apply. Varia is available in gauges from 1/16 inch to 1 inch.
