Guests drop postcards and letters into the mailboxes, and cast members retrieve them at the end of each day (excluding weekends and holidays). Disney doesn’t mail the letters on property, but send them out from a local post office. Even if you don’t mail a letter from the mailboxes, they’re still fun to find.

Why doesn’t the Disney app show wait times?
You should be able to view any needed updates in your Settings. Once everything is updated, restart your iPhone and then open your My Disney Experience mobile app. If you click on the map icon at the bottom of your screen, you should see the current Wait Times listed for all four theme parks.
Will Disney send an autographed picture?
If you have your heart set on an autograph from a particular character, and you have a friend or family member going on a trip to the Disneyland Resort, you can always ask them to get that character’s autograph for you. Characters are happy to provide an autograph when asked.

Today, April 18, Disney officially dropped the social distancing at character dining and meet and greets and Guests can once again hug Disney characters! It’s great to see Disney characters once again giving out hugs, autographs, and more personalized experiences.
