Where do upperclassmen live at LMU?
Apartments: On-Campus apartments are home to mainly upper-division students. Houses: Our two university student houses are home to students accepted into the Service and Action House and the International House.
Is housing guaranteed at LMU?
Students who lived in Doheny hall during the 2019-2020 academic year will be guaranteed on campus housing.
Does LMU have communal bathrooms?
Loyola Marymount University’s traditional residence halls are home to predominantly first-year students. In these buildings, two LMU students share a room, and the residents on the floor share one or more bathrooms. The other community spaces included are study rooms, lounges and a laundry facility.
Are LMU dorms air conditioned?
AC units have been installed on the lounges of Whelan, Doheny, Rosecrans and Desmond, and tinted windows for all the dorms are being looked into.

Yes. LMU community members will use their myLMU account credentials to gain access to LMU Park. Guests will need to create their own parking account if going through LMU Park or Parkmobile. Pay Stations do not require any login or password.

Can you have a microwave at LMU?
Appliances. The University partners with Collegiate Concepts to provide on-campus residents the opportunity to lease microfridges (microwave-refrigerator combinations). You may bring your own refrigerator as long as it is no larger than 5.0 cubic feet or lease a maximum of one microfridge per room.
Where do Loyola Marymount students live off campus?
Because Loyola is centrally located, students have the opportunity to live in the heart of downtown or in the various suburbs of Los Angeles. Although Loyola does not offer on-campus student housing, the majority of our students live in downtown Los Angeles, West Hollywood, and the Miracle Mile area.
Are there parties at LMU?
LMU parties and kickbacks are great! It’s difficult to find parties sometimes, but students on campus know how to have fun without a formal party. From frats to dorm parties, you are set! However, I would not categorize LMU as a party school, as our parties are much smaller and less wild than USC or UC parties.
