Are performance sway bars worth it?
Should You Upgrade Your Sway Bars? That’s completely up to you. Stiffer sway bars are particularly useful for performance vehicles or vehicles that carry or tow loads, but anybody can upgrade their ride if sway bars give them what they believe is a better driving experience.
Do sway bars improve ride quality?

Do you need an alignment after changing sway bar links?
Basically, if the steering rack, tie rods, subframe, or control arm bolts have been altered or the car has been lowered, you need an alignment. Removing the sway bar, and replacing it would not require an alignment, unless something that I mentioned above had to be moved to access the sway bar.
