What happened to the Coop bookshop?
Administrators PwC announced early in 2020 that the chain had been sold to Australian online book retailer Booktopia. The Co-op Bookshop website now redirects to Booktopia.
Where can I buy books at UWA?
You can purchase textbooks from your choice of vendor to secure the best deal. The Student Guild can provide you with assistance on where to purchase books if required. Stockholders own it, a board of directors controls it, and the general public buys the end product. The members of the co-op own, control, and use the products and services of the co-op.
Do you get paid in co-op?
Co-op positions are always paid. Students are usually paid at the same rate as entry level workers in that position at your company. Your Cooperative Education Consultant will advise you on hours and going wage rates, but the final decision is up to you.

Angus & Robertson is an online bookstore. In 2011, after 125 years of bookselling, A&R become an online only store and as such no longer operate any physical stores.
