How do I get MRCPsych?
Each examination has different criteria, to complete the full MRCPsych an overseas doctors must be registered with a recognised medical board in their country of residence and complete the Assessment Portfolio for Overseas Candidates demonstrating that they have complete 3 years of equivalent training.

How long does it take to prepare for MRCPsych?
24 months’ whole time equivalent post foundation/internship experience in Psychiatry by the time of sitting the CASC to include: Individual posts should normally be of a minimum of 4 months’ duration, regardless of the number of weekly sessions. They expect trainees to work a minimum of 50% (or five sessions a week).
