The Haldex EGP Height Control Valve (HCV) automatically adds air to, or exhausts air from air suspension to maintain a constant static design ride height. – The Haldex EGP can be used for right or left and long or short control arm applications.
What is a leveling valve?
The levelling valve is installed as a level control valve for load depended height control using the air bellows of vehicles with air suspension. Depending on the version, additional functions are possible. Versions with a zero point adjustment (Port No. 4) provide a 2nd ride height.
How does an air dump valve work?
A Dump Valve uses two pressure signals to stay shut, one from the manifold and one from the inlet, which act on opposite sides of the piston and since they oppose each other they should balance out, and the spring then holds it shut.
What does the suspension dump switch do?
This feature allows the operator to lower the rear of the vehicle by dumping the air from the suspension bags, or raise the rear of the vehicle to the set point controlled by the suspension height control valve. The suspension dump switch is located in a switch pack.
How does a park shunt valve work?
