the Haswell wouldn’t have been BCLK overclocking friendly, but we could have went with a large number of variations, but wanted to go with a constant. I do agree that if you were to buy a 4690 it would likely be best to go for the K model. But we wanted to see how close an overclocked i3 could come to an ‘out-of-the-box’ experience of an i5.
