How much Marco rock do I need?
Generally speaking we recommend approximately 1 lb per gallon. The goal is to create an aesthetically pleasing aqua-scape that has enough surface area to handle the biological needs of the tank while also leaving enough negative space for corals and fish.
How do you glue live rocks underwater?
Use some putty such as DD aquascape putty (in my experience, this is THE best kind). If you put a dab of superglue gel on the putty and then stick it down, it will adhere very well while the whole thing cures.
How do you bond live rock?
Drilling the rocks and using plastic rods is probably your best bet, but a properly placed ball of epoxy can work wonders sometimes too though. (and a lot of patience) You can also use super glue gel in combination with the epoxy for an even stronger bond.

Can I glue live rock underwater?
Yes, by itself it will adhere to the rock better than most other putties… but it works even better if you add a small drop of superglue gel on the putty then place it where you wish. No need to remove the rocks from the water. The gel will create an instant adhesion with the rock and allow the putty to cure.

Can I scrub my live rock?
Yes it will. IMO , if you’re just scrubbing your rock and want to keep it live , (transfer, spring cleaning etc),use old tank water. I’ve done that a lot. If it’s really nasty add some peroxide to the scrub water.

Live rock per se does not need light, but if you want to keep any organism that are photosynthetic then yes, you’d need light.
