About: The Summit Scholarship awards out-of-state top scholars will receive 40,000 over four years—10,000 per year. Students enrolled in five-year degree programs will receive the Summit Scholarship for a fifth year.

PathwayOregon is awarded to incoming freshman based on these criteria:
- Oregon residents who graduate from an Oregon high school.
- Incoming domestic freshmen.
- A minimum 3.40 cumulative high school grade point average on a 4.00 scale.

Does University of Oregon stack scholarships?
The Summit Scholarship can be combined with other UO scholarships, including the Presidential, Diversity Excellence, and General University Scholarships. Summit Scholarships may not be combined with the Apex Scholarship or UO Excellence Scholarship.

Awards range from $2,000 to $4,128 per year (in 2022-23) for full-time students. Your Oregon Promise award amount depends on your remaining financial need after you receive other state and federal grants.
Is Oregon promise still available?
The application is currently open for GED® test graduates who will graduate between March 1, 2022 and June 30, 2022. If you graduated prior to March 1, 2022 (or you are a high school graduate of June 30, 2022 or prior), you have unfortunately missed your deadline to apply for the Oregon Promise Grant.
