How do I request a roommate App State?
To request a room change, log into the Housing Management System and submit a room change request. University Housing staff will communicate with you regarding your request. Once approved for a room change you will have 48 hours to complete your move.

We make every attempt to honor roommate requests. If you have a person in mind for your roommate, be sure to list that person’s name on the housing application along with their J-number (this number is assigned by Jackson State University). Both applicants must be officially admitted to the University.
