Can you choose your roommate in U of T?
Students get an opportunity to request specific housemates before the room assignment process takes place. This is an optional step in the application process. All housemate requests are submitted in the StarRez Portal for the session you are applying for.
What should I bring to U of T dorm?

Can you have people over at your dorm?
Typically, the short answer will be no. Many colleges allow visitors to stay overnight and even for multiple nights. However, most campuses do not allow visitors to move into dorm rooms, regardless of gender. That being said, this ruling will vary from campus to campus.
How do uni dorms work?
Uni accommodation tends to include: a fully furnished bedroom, a shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. Each student flat usually contains around 6 to 8 bedrooms, so you’ll be sharing the kitchen and bathroom facilities with about 5 to 7 other students.
Can you bring a mini fridge to uni?
